Who You Are
As a seasoned professional in network engineering or a related field, you are driven to expand your skills and knowledge further. You have a deep understanding of network security and are dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in network infrastructure. Proactive in detecting and responding to network and security events, you are eager to contribute your expertise in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will take on a leadership role, responsible for deploying and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure both on-site and in the cloud. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and supporting the company’s LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Additionally, you will handle escalations and assist in troubleshooting complex network issues, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to internal customers. You will work collaboratively with the IT team to ensure seamless integration and high-performance interoperability with the corporate network.
Your Success Profile
- Extensive experience in network engineering or related fields.
- Proven ability to handle escalations, diagnose, and resolve complex network problems while meeting SLA expectations.
- Proficiency in configuring, testing, and maintaining LAN/WAN equipment and services.
- In-depth knowledge of intrusion prevention technologies, firewalls, proxy, VPN, and remote access.
- Experience with network and telecommunication design and topologies.
- Proficient in Mac (Apple) troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Meraki, AWS, and network professional certifications such as CCNA is a plus.
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model and layer 2 technologies such as STP, VLAN, ARP.
What You Will Work On
- Designing and deploying advanced LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including necessary hardware like firewalls, servers, switches, and APs.
- Configuring, testing, and maintaining LAN/WAN equipment and services in a highly efficient manner.
- Handling escalations and troubleshooting complex network issues, ensuring efficient and effective resolution.
- Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to internal customers, addressing their network-related concerns.
- Collaborating with the security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
- Ensuring timely patching of network hardware in both office and cloud environments.
- Collaborating closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration and high-performance interoperability with the local corporate network.
- Updating VLANS, ACLs, and Firewall rules as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with a track record of handling escalations.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting intrusion prevention technologies, firewalls, proxy, VPN, and remote access.
- Ability to establish and maintain efficient network systems using available resources wisely.
- Familiarity with Meraki, AWS, and network professional certifications such as CCNA is a plus.
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model and layer 2 technologies such as STP, VLAN, ARP.
- Experience with terrnetwork and telecommunication design and topologies.
- Proficient in Mac (Apple) troubleshooting.
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $142,500.00 to $156,750.00 per year.
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
