You will join a growing and developing team and liaise with stakeholders from across the Council and beyond.What’s the role?You will report to the Principal Lawyer in the Legal Place team and will supervise a team of planning lawyers. The role will involve working in a collaborative manner with the wider legal team, other teams across the Council and external legal advisers and members of the public. What we’re looking forYou will have the legal knowledge and experience commensurate with a solicitor, barrister or CILEX with at least 5 years post qualification experience, preferably in a local government setting. You will have an ability to work under pressure, juggling caseloads, meeting priorities and dealing with conflicting deadlines. You will have an eye for accuracy and ensure quality and consistency of work produced. You will have great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of peopleLocationThe job is primarily based in Laurence House, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.Special conditions
