Job description
Our client is a global reinsurance company based in Dublin city centre and they are hiring a Senior Reinsurance Analyst to join their team who are responsible for quarterly and yearly closing processes. This will suit an analytical professional with at least 5 years’ experience within reinsurance accounting.Key Responsibilities
- Review calculation, analysis and monitoring of premium and commission estimates for a portfolio of clients.
- Handling of internal retrocession processes & related interaction with Legal Entity CFO’s
- Review of reconciliations between sub and general ledger
- Internal and external reporting (GAAP, regulatory and statutory reporting)
- Support of the external and internal audit process
- Portfolio analyses
- Cooperation with and support of functional areas such as Finance, Reserving, Operation teams
- Providing support to managers on projects and ad hoc requests
Experience/Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA) or bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Reinsurance Accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT and Excel skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Remuneration Package€85,000 – €90,000
