This is a senior-level appointment for an experienced professional who can drive performance, optimise sales processes, and deliver detailed reporting to executive leadership. The role offers the chance to shape the direction of a high-growth business making a real impact in energy efficiency across Ireland.The RoleThe Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading an office based sales team across Ireland. The successful candidate will oversee pipeline performance, lead generation strategy, and sales reporting while fostering a high-performing and motivated team culture. A strong emphasis is placed on structured reporting, process management, and alignment with business targets.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support a national sales team to deliver against ambitious revenue targets.Develop and maintain detailed sales reports and pipeline updates for the General Manager.Identify and implement improvements in the sales process to drive efficiency and conversion.Coordinate closely with marketing on lead generation activities and campaign outcomes.Set and monitor KPIs for individual team members; provide coaching and performance feedback.Ensure full and effective use of the CRM system for pipeline visibility and performance tracking.Instil a customer-first mindset across the team, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience.Contribute to the commercial strategy and assist with budgeting and planning cycles.Conduct regular training, team meetings, and field visits to support performance and engagement.Candidate ProfileA relevant degree in Business, Sales, or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a B2C setting.Demonstrated success in managing and developing a geographically dispersed sales team.Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, including closing strategies and pipeline management.Proven ability to analyse trends, interpret data, and produce actionable insights.Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.Hands-on experience with CRM systems and reporting tools.Commercially driven, with the ability to align team performance to wider business objectives.Flexible and comfortable with national travel when required.Remuneration & BenefitsCompetitive base salary (depending on experience)Company vehicle or car allowanceManagement bonus schemePrivate health insuranceCompany pension contributionCompany phone and laptopWorking ModelThe role supports hybrid working, with a combination of home-based work and regular team field interaction.
