The Automations team is focused on enhancing our trigger-based email offerings, making it even easier to get the right message in front of the right person at the right time.This is a hybrid role working from our Dublin office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Team Manager for the Automations team.You’ll Get To…

• Pioneer: Work in a recently greenfield codebase with lots of opportunity to further establish patterns and conventions.
• Build: Create and enhance features that help Squarespace customers connect to and engage with their audiences.
• Design: Help shape the architecture and user experience of our new Automations builder interface.
• Collaborate: Partner with a group of motivated and enthusiastic engineers to build high-quality, reliable software that delights our users.
• Mentor: Provide support to engineers, promoting growth, learning, and a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Who We’re Looking For…

• You have 5+ years of experience in the software industry, with a solid foundation in engineering best practices, UI design, test automation, and architectural design.
• You’ve got a knack for talking tech with non-technical people, explaining complicated concepts clearly both in conversation and through written technical specifications, recognizing the importance of understanding across teams and disciplines.
• You’re a vigorous proponent of descriptive automated testing and understand its importance in maintaining code quality and documenting intended functionality.
• You have experience mentoring engineers at different levels.
• You excel in a team environment, working with engineers and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals.
