Service Advisor Needed in Bury for Used Car Supermarket

• Basic Salary Up To: £26,000 + Additional Bonus
• Monday – Friday + Weekends on a rota

As a Service Advisor:

• You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Your responsibilities will include greeting service customers, handling service booking calls, efficiently allocating service and MOT work to technicians, and identifying opportunities to upsell and maximise profitability.
• You will keep customers informed about costs and progress, process payments, manage customer feedback, and handle potential complaints.
• Additionally, you’ll balance the service diary, provide quotations, create invoices, and perform general administrative tasks.

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the motor industry
• A proactive team player with a hands-on, customer-focused approach
• Desire to go the extra mile for every customer
• Previous experience in the Automotive Industry (essential)
• Good negotiation skills (essential)
• Excellent communication skills (essential)
• Computer literacy using Microsoft Office (essential)
• Attention to detail (essential)
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Previous technical/mechanical background (preferred)
• Demonstrable experience of upselling (preferred)
