We are seeking to attract candidates from a variety of industrial, hospital, medical device, or life science, service / workshop engineer backgrounds. This job offers the opportunity for a customer-driven engineer to add plenty of value, including the creation of a triage system, new processes and procedures, and continuous modern improvements. BASIC SALARY: £40,000 – £43,000 (negotiable, depending on experience and potential)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Workshop Engineer, Service Enginee, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Calibration Engineer – Hospital, Medical, Life Science, Industrial

We are seeking a long-term Service Engineer. As the first point of triage, you will oversee our service function, to ensure a seamless customer experience through the timely handling of projects, and regular communication with customers. This job will offer plenty of variety and opportunity; to make this “your own”.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Workshop Engineer, Service Enginee, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Calibration Engineer – Hospital, Medical, Life Science, Industrial

You will:
· Be first line for customer calls.
· Investigate and triage customer product complaints.
· Carry out repairs and service (both hardware & software), across our product range and in-house.
· Commission new instruments to factory requirements, prior to delivery.
· Ensure you are fully equipped in the field, with the appropriate tools and spares.
· Complete all paperwork on time and to a high standard.
· Follow processes and procedures to ISO 9000 / ISO13845 requirements (or as directed by Health & Safety legislation).
· Comply with Health & Safety Policy, and all regulatory standards.
· Develop and maintain a high reputation for Service Support.
· Assist Sales Team in the development of sales opportunities.
· Maintain the workshop to a high standard.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Workshop Engineer, Service Enginee, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Calibration Engineer – Hospital, Medical, Life Science, Industrial

You will have the following skills, traits, and characteristics:-

· Technical, hospital, medical, or life science background, within a similar role.
· OND/ONC, in relevant field.
· Proficient computer application skills, specifically MSOffice, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Both flexible, and willing to travel, as the job requires.
