RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform global portal and WSS Configuration and management.
  • Manage SharePoint tasks, including system, shared services, security, external service connections, Application management, and Network Configuration.
  • Create and design new SharePoint initiatives and enhance functionality of existing SharePoint operations.
  • Design architecture for SharePoint environments on Customer’s intranet and extranet.
  • Monitor infrastructure capacity and implementation, as well as farm performance and availability.
  • Manage Application Server, including organization, Deployment, permissions, and security.
  • Develop and integrate search strategy.
  • Provide documentation of policies, procedures, and Configurations for SharePoint applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Computer Science Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in SharePoint administration or development.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with SharePoint building blocks, including site collections, sites, web applications, lists, views, libraries, and the SharePoint security model.
  • Experience working with languages such as C++, Java, XML, Visual Basic, .NET, .ASP, HTML.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Workflows, InfoPath forms, and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience with SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010, Microsoft Server 2008, IIS 7.0.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)

Overview

We are seeking a SHAREPOINT FARM ADMINISTRATOR to join our team supporting the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Arlington, VA. You will be a member of technical team where excellent customer service and professional expertise are required.

The mission of FDIC’s Chief Information Officer Organization (CIOO) is to provide scalable, efficient technology that enables continuous access to data securely. In support of this mission, FDIC established ServiceNow as an enterprise platform in 2016 and has since implemented six product suites across the ServiceNow platform. The use of cloud platforms like ServiceNow is a key component of the FDIC’s ongoing IT Modernization Program, which emphasizes accelerated cloud adoption to support mission needs. The IT Modernization Program is intended to align the FDIC’s IT program with key Federal priorities, including the Federal Cloud Smart Strategy.
