About the roleWe are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our UK HR team as a HR Business Partner to provide HR leadership to our Louth and Ralegh sites in the UK Packaging division.The HR Business Partner will act as a change agent and be pivotal in driving forward the HR and Business Strategy to enable a step change in culture and performance. You will implement the HR Corporate Plan across both sites and provide support and guidance to business leaders, truly partnering the business to drive results and people capabilities.You will use your experience to coach our site leadership teams on several key focus areas including Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance & Talent, and Inclusion & Diversity. You will be a problem solver who is trusted in resolving challenging situations, continually driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company procedures, policies and employment legislation.About youMinimum requirements:Experience of operating as a HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environmentExperience of coaching managers in delivering HR related activitiesUp to date, comprehensive knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislationExcellent communication and influencing skillsAble to take an analytical and collaborative approach to problem solving.Ability to take a hands-on approach to some transactional tasks but think both operationally and strategicallyPreferred requirements:Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, or LogisticsCIPD Level 7 or equivalent experiencePrevious experience working in partnership with trade unionsBenefitsCompetitive salaryDiscretionary bonus25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension scheme, life assurance and income protectionSharesave schemeSalary sacrifice electric car schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEmployee DiscountsCycle to work schemeLocation: Louth Onsite – Monday to FridayAbout usWe’re DS Smith, the FTSE100 company who are redefining packaging for a changing world.
