Together, we shape the evolution.The Opportunity : SRE EngineerJoin Technology & Operations Core Infrastructure Engineering at Worldline, a prominent leader in the financial technology sector, dedicated to providing innovative payment and transaction processing solutions throughout Europe.What you’ll do :Infrastructures services are managed by multiple teams, you will join one of these teams with today’s focus on:
- Integration of Windows services in our global internal cloud and Public cloud.
- Support business lines to migrate their current solution in our brand new Infra with code, automation and CICD
- Active Directory as a service (Managing AD via TF / CI/CD / Pipeline)
- Microsoft on premise as a service (PKI / WSUS / WDS / …)
- Develop new infra services to improve Worldline velocity and innovation
- Manage, innovate, and create Infrastructures services and tooling that continuously improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Worldline
- Work cross-functionally to build fast, reliable, and resilient production systems
- Develop, configure and enhance our automation stack and our CI/CD pipelines.
- Create Documentation that every collaborator can use, improve and share. Technical documentation and user documentation.
- Daily operational tasks (change management, application monitoring, application deployment, …)
- Secure our services, obviously in the payment industry security is must and should be taken into account from the very beginning
- Others : Packer / Terraform / Puppet / Powershell / and many more tools
Who you are :
- Academic or Bachelor level of education or equivalent by experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Windows experience in a HA environment
- Self-starter, autonomous
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization
- Quick learner
- Ability to make your way through a complicate and secure stack autonomously
- Automation is your answer to (almost) everything
- Open source enthusiast (but not only)
- Believe in Infrastructure as Code
- Target 0 support solution and self healing systems
- Security minded
- Ability to find trade of in:
- stability vs. agility,
- operational work vs. software engineering,
- proactive vs. reactive work
Your favorite books are:Must have :
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Servers
- Used to work with source version control like Git, GitLab, GIT flows and CICD
- Used to work with Puppet (we do everything with puppet)
- Used to work with Terraform (we aim that all pieces of infra is defined with code)
- Very good knowledge of Windows Features, like AD / PKI / WSUS / WDS
- Very good knowledge of Scripting (powershell / puppet / CICD)
- Understanding of network protocol (IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, Load balancing,…)
- Experience with multi DC setup (in different countries)
- Experience with hybrid infra (On prem + cloud)
- Experience with AWS (Workspace, ) and Azure
- Experience with security standards (PCI-DSS,…)
- Focus on automation
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to have :
- Experience with Grafana
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of GO
- Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French are a plus
- Familiar with service discovery in a micro-frontend architecture
