Job Summary/Basic Function
MTSU seeks candidates who will oversee the research plot implementation and maintenance and daily operations of the small farm unit, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural management, a passion for sustainable farming, and organizational skills.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field. Enriched knowledge with field/specialty crop production and experience with operating farm equipment are preferred.
Required Related Experience
Experience with produce farming and farm management is highly desirable.
