  • Writes and delivers code for features and modules debugs existing code and modules.
  • Follows coding guidelines and practices and all technical processes.
  • Develops and validates estimates for technical work that will be undertaken.
  • Participates in analysis of requirements for designing new system features.
  • Support customers in a live production environment.

Qualifications:ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer sciences or engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience in a development role, preferably using a mainstream object-oriented language such as Java.
  • Java 8+: Proficiency in Java.
  • Spring Boot: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • Junit 5+: Expertise in Junit 5 or higher for effective unit testing.
  • BDD Testing Patterns: Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing patterns to ensure high-quality code and efficient testing processes.
  • Code Quality Tools: Experience working with code quality/analysis tools such as SonarQube.
  • DevOps: Proficiency with DevOps practices such as but not limited to Source Control, Branch policies, Branch flow, CI\CD Pipelines.
  • Cloud Technologies: Interest in learning Azure cloud technologies.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • JMS / MQ: Understanding and practical experience with Java Message Service (JMS) or Message Queues (MQ) for efficient communication between distributed systems.
  • Oracle DB: Familiarity with Oracle Database, including database design and optimization.
  • Azure DevOps: Experience using Azure Boards for agile work management, Azure Pipelines for CI/CD, and Azure Repos for source code control.
