• Collaborate with product owners and other application developers to design, code, and maintain high quality applications against established processes in a scrum team setting
• Work with software teams to ensure alignment of architecture to user requirements
• Able to lead investigation and resolution of technical problems within department
• Implementation of bugfixes, improvements and new stories

• Good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
• Knowledge and experience with Java
• Knowledge and experience with SQL
• Experience designing and implementing software quality patterns and practices (unit testing, integrated testing)
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Understanding of Java Persistence
• Experience with GIT
• Knowledge and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Have proven verbal and written communication skills (English)

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with the Vaadin web Framework is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with Go is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with ElasticSearch is a plus
• Experience with user interface development, SOA and/or software security architecture is a plus
• Experience in J2EE and application servers (such as JBoss) is a plus
• Interest in continuous delivery and continuous integration is a plus
• Interest in cloud technologies is a plus
• Interest in development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is a plus
• Be curious, detail oriented, analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
• Be customer-focused, end-user-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
