As a Java Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team working on the development of new products and enhancements. You will design, document, support, and implement new microservices, as well as maintain existing services.At RELX, we are committed to advancing gender diversity within the technology sector and supporting greater representation of women in tech. • Collaborate with team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs
• Developing and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies
• Developing and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
• Implementing and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS
• Deploying and manage microservices on AWS platforms.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.

Requirements

• Have experience of Java Spring Boot and ideally Cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Experience building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot framework
• Able to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication
• Able to work well with internal and external technology resource
• Be a creative, problem solver, innovative, can actively participate to give ideas / solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
