The Cisco Secure Client helps enable a highly secure connectivity experience across a broad set of PC and mobile devices.Our diverse groups deployed products on over 130 million latest desktop and mobile devices, including iPhone, Android, and Windows Phones. Join us!What You’ll Do:

  • You’ll learn new skills and product features, supported by a great team environment
  • Working with developers, you’ll independently design and plan tests to ensure the quality of our products
  • You will craft testing supporting documentation
  • Through tests that you devise, you’ll discover defects and drive them through the resolution
  • Proactively troubleshoot and solve issues related to the entire protocol stack
  • Using Python, Java, or similar languages, you’ll create automated test suites, test frameworks and support their continual enhancement
  • Collaborate with other Cisco teams, including Development, Escalation, Documentation, and Marketing teams

Who You Are:You are self-motivated, driven, and engaged. You’re passionate about testing and enjoy collaborating in a team-based environment. You have fun learning new technologies. You want to get to the bottom of things, understand what’s happening, and make a difference! You are someone who doesn’t give up when faced with complex problems.

  • You have at least four years of software QA experience with an MSEE/CS or 7 years of QA experience with a BSEE/CS or related technical degree or PhD with at least 1 year of related experience
  • Practical experience working with TCP/IP stack and networking/security protocols
  • You have solid work experience with one of the Desktop platorms: Windows, macOS, and Linux and firewalls
  • You understand and worked on software testing methodology
  • Experience in creating test plans, finding defects and creating required documentation independently
  • You have a consistent track record of building positive relationships with technical engineers and non-technical customers
  • You possess superb verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and providing detailed documentation on products

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in testing VPN clients, firewalls, or other network/application security products
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP stack and virtualization
  • Secure coding and encryption protocol experience
  • Experience with regression testing and automation tools
  • Working experience on security concepts such as SSL, Digital Certificates, code signing, etc.
  • Agile development process experience

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
