Understand all cost drivers in order to provide accurate and challenging budgets and forecast
Track and monitor financial performance by analyzing actual results and comparing to budget or forecast, providing variance analysis and business insights to management.
Perform deep dive analyses on root cause of issues and make recommendations on resolution of issues.
Compile weekly/monthly reporting of KPIs and other metrics and present in real time actionable format.
Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify improvement opportunities, minimize risk, and protect continuity of supply.
Coordinate activities with corporate accounting to ensure accurate financial results and other financial closing activities.
Direct Business Partnering:
Develop and leverage relationships with Procurement and Corporate functions to achieve product cost and related finance KPIs and goals.
Provide meaningful insight and recommendations to management.
Be a trusted advisor and expert to the Procurement and Product Costing teams and others, providing support to find common ground solutions that satisfy the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Identify and lead productivity, process, and continuous improvement activities.
Decision Support:
Articulate actionable data-driven insights by leveraging BI tools and storytelling techniques
Use business intelligence tools and data analytics to influence others and drive decision making
Formulate innovative ideas and map steps that will clearly accelerate the organization towards its goals
Participate in function or career development training and develop new skills essential to the future of Supply Chain Finance
