This offers structured personal and professional development as you transition to registered practice and includes a supernumerary period, Introduction to Professional Practice (IPP), and a bespoke education pathway for all our clinical areas.Main duties of the jobThe role is to provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation of individualised family centred, infant, child or young person focused programmes of care. You will deliver care without supervision & take responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients & at all times promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate family centred, infant, child or young person focused patient care. The role will involve taking charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse. You will participate in the in-service training, preceptorship & mentorship of junior staff, post basic learners & students as well as maintaining your personal development.
