Staff Software Engineer, Telecom

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a part of the telecom platform engineering team at ServiceTitan and help improve our voice platform by building new features and functionality. You must have a strong background in architecting and implementing real-time enterprise web applications, building distributed systems for scale, and a proven ability to deliver technical excellence and strong process management. What You’ll Do

• Lead the technical implementation of both user-facing features and our internal telephony platform components from end-to-end
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement product features
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with other engineers, teams, and partners.
• 70% development / 30% working on requirements, documentation, mentorship, supervision.

What You’ll Bring:

• 10-15+ years of industry experience
• Expert-level knowledge of:
• Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC Core, Web APIs) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or any other)
• C#12 / .NET 8 is a plus
• Patterns for modularization and decomposition as they relate to microservices
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and tools (TeamCity or similar)
• Git processes and techniques
• Container architecture and concepts
• Log / Metric collection and analysis tools (ELK, DataDog, Prometheus, etc)
• Performance tuning and optimization for real-time software
• Experience with k8s and preferably gitops workflows
• Experience with Kafka
• Telecom industry or VoIP experience is a huge plus
• Some experience with HTML5 and JavaScript; experience such front-end frameworks as React is a plus
• Strong communication and technical writing skills

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $154,000 USD – $220,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
