Job description
We are presently recruiting a Purchasing Analyst / Stock Controller for our clients, An Engineering company in North Dublin. You will manage inventory levels, ensures accurate stock records, oversees stock replenishment, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings and minimizes discrepancies. You will coordinate with suppliers, conduct stock audits, and maintain optimal inventory to meet business demands efficiently. This is a permanent, full – time position based in North Dublin with a Monday – Friday working week.Duties:
- Review of monthly spend per supplier / category.
- Generate insights from the data and challenge buyers / suppliers as needed.
- Core compliance reporting by branch.
- Rebate accrual and spend review to maximise rebate earnings.
- Liase with suppliers on quotes and price differences
- Supplier price file updates to the ERP system.
- Complete requisitions for the amount of stock required, maintaining quantities & stock at maximum agreed levels.
- Review of stock levels to ensure no “stock outs” and advise manager of inappropriate holding levels.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are updated as and when required.
- Regular reporting – manage and analyse data efficiently.
- Utilise spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables.
Qualifications and experiences:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Recognised qualification relating to business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and looks ups.
- Experience working with stock systems or ERP systems.
Salary is based on experiences and in the region of €40 – €50,000 plus medical and pension. For further information, please email me directly at
