An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Store Manager in Killarney with a leading multinational retail chain. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of retail management experience, including at least 1 year in a store manager role across any sector-grocery, fashion, or non-food.The Store Manager reports to the District Manager, and together they provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a culture based on the highest quality and exceptional customer service. A genuine interest in animals is essential.Responsibilities as Store Manager
- Lead, coach, and motivate your team to deliver 5-star customer service
- Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs
- Manage daily operations including rostering, stock control, and cost management
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, merchandising, and store standards
- Build strong product knowledge and promote a customer-focused, pet-friendly environment
Skill and qualities essential for this Store Manager role include
- 2-3 years’ retail management experience, ideally with team leadership of 5+
- Background in grocery, fashion, or non-food retail sectors
- Strong people management and team development skills
- KPI-focused, with experience in driving sales and managing margins
- Genuine passion for animals and eagerness to learn the business
