Your role at a glance

Would you like the opportunity to take ownership and lead strategic supplier risk agenda in one of Europe’s largest asset managers and a major global investor?

If you are an expert in all things Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) in an asset management firm and have extensive experience of producing meaningful insights and supplier risk profile including reports and dashboards that shows Outsourcing Governance, Compliance and Oversight management, then this is fantastic opportunity to join the LGIM business as a Lead Strategic Supplier Risk Manager.

In this exciting role you’ll be responsible to provide critical and important third party risk intelligence from a number of data points across a portfolio strategic outsourcers and suppliers whilst ensuring TPRM oversight and governance is in place for a new relationship in accordance with Group Procurement & Supplier Management Policy and LGIM Global Outsourcing and Third Party Management Framework.

Working alongside LGIM 2nd Line Risk teams incl. Operations, Compliance, IT, Operational Resilience, and other business globally you will be responsible for maintaining LGIM TPRM agenda that has clear visibility across and up to Executive level. This role will require you to build professional relationships at various levels, as well as being key in identifying and reporting key strategic supplier risk metrics whilst ensuring regular due diligence activities are scheduled and completed on time.

This is fantastic opportunity for you to work closely with LGIM Supplier Relationship Management community to explore how to best evolve key insights into meaningful action. This role is full of opportunity for you to develop and progress, and you’ll be given the account ownership and autonomy needed to really make an impact.

What you’ll be doing

Deep Third Party Risk Management Experience incl:

  • Production, design and upgrade of LGIM Outsourcing & Third Party Management Framework
  • Identification and escalation of any third-party risk metrics that are showing concern
  • Regular Strategic Supplier Risk Executive Briefs both internal and external
  • Working with IT and Operational Resilience teams to complete, at least, annual due diligence outputs and metrics
  • Work with other LGIM regions to ensure that a consistent level of TPRM oversight is being maintained
  • Working with Global Head of Strategic Supplier Oversight to track ongoing TPRM risks and issues and ensuring appropriate escalations and mitigating actions are in place
  • Actively seek ways to enhance TPRM data and analytics that reduce and mitigate risk
  • Producing robust TPRM Supplier Management Committee papers
  • Training Supplier Relationship Managers on TPRM best practices
  • Enhance the TPRM control environment

Policy & Playbook Standards

  • Ensuring the adherence and monitoring of all Group P&SM / Procurement / SRM Playbook TPRM activities is accurate and timely
  • On-going analysis of SRM Playbook activities with a focus of providing further intelligence on oversight of key mandatory activities i.e. Group OESS Milestones
  • Weekly and monthly reporting for LGIM SRM Forum; Supplier Management Committee; Executive Risk Committee; COO Committee; FCA Presentations
  • Identification and escalation of any metrics that are showing overdue across policy and playbook standards
  • Ensuring the Global Head of Strategic Supplier Oversight is kept informed of all types of Strategic Supplier Risks

Documentation

  • Production of Supplier Oversight Reporting Suite
  • Engage and collaborate with relevant functional areas to produce reporting and analysis of supplier management activities i.e., Cyber; Information Security; Operational Resilience.
  • Timely production and distribution of Supplier Management Forum and Committee Reporting

Team Integration

  • Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with LGIM SRMs and key stakeholders incl. 2nd line teams and Group Teams
  • Collaborating and maintaining effective dialogue with LGIM SRMs in relation to reporting issues and escalating overdue activities

Client service

  • Focus on suppliers with multiple client impact
  • Building good working relationships
  • Ability to provide high quality documents within tight deadlines

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be an expert in Third Party Risk Management, with the resilience, drive, and network, to successful manage internal and external stakeholders. As we continue to go through exciting transformation, you’ll need to enjoy working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, being adaptable, forward thinking, and growth minded.

Here’s some of the experience that we’d love to see:

  • Relevant experience working in Asset Management with a knowledge outsourcing and suppliers (preferred not essential)
  • Relevant experience of TPRM, Supplier Governance, Compliance and Oversight analytics and metrics
  • Good experience and expertise with relevant TPRM systems i.e. One Sum x; Coupa; Programme tools; Presentation systems like Prezzi; Trello, Powerpoint or similar solid understanding of the supplier management process and reporting complimented by strong visuals and presentation skills
  • Experience using Power Apps, Automate and BI
  • M Code, DAX, Python and SQL experience desirable.
  • Ability to identify and provide solutions
  • Competent in capturing requirements, building dashboards, testing, and managing systems
  • Prepare and enhance formal meeting papers for Executive Committees
  • Senior management stakeholder skills
  • Train and present to stakeholders across the business
