This position requires expertise in both fluids and structures analysis.As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the structural integrity and performance of aerospace components and systems. You will work closely with design engineers to ensure that products meet all necessary requirements and standards. Your primary focus will be on both fluids and structures analysis, ensuring that designs can withstand various stress factors and operating conditions.Responsibilities:– Conduct stress analysis and simulations on aerospace components and systems, considering both fluids and structures aspects.– Collaborate with design engineers to optimize designs for strength, weight, and performance.– Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to assess structural integrity and fluid behavior.– Identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.– Generate detailed reports and documentation to communicate analysis results and recommendations.– Stay updated with industry standards and best practices related to stress analysis in aerospace engineering.Requirements:– Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.– Proven experience as a Stress Engineer, with expertise in both fluids and structures analysis.– Proficiency in using stress analysis software, such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS.– Strong knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques.– Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to stress analysis in aerospace engineering.– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.– Strong communication and teamwork abilities.If you are a highly skilled Stress Engineer with expertise in both fluids and structures analysis, and you are looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to the aerospace and defense industry, we encourage you to apply.
