The role

The Supply Chain Information Manager role will monitor and manage the Supply Chain Information
on pick, pack, ship and delivery of goods to EMEA locations and the reverse logistics shipments to the
EMEA warehouse, and through hardware identification and inbound from EMEA customer locations.
Provide proactive management of the communication and processes surrounding these areas.

Your tasks

  • Problem-solving of escalations and developing short-notice solutions to meet customer shipping and delivery requirements, even in exceptional circumstances.
  • Communicating with Engineering, Sourcing and Customer Support Teams to align and agree on customer-specific solutions.
  • Closely collaborating with the warehouse to manage information around pick, pack, ship on-time.
  • Work with Logistics, Arvato transport management to ensure delivery SLA’s are met.
  • Manage third party booking systems for movement of Customer product.
  • Manage reverse logistics shipments to the EMEA warehouse and any third party shipments as required.
  • Freight security tracking, working with external security partner.
  • Track inbound stock to the Warehouse and plan in parallel the subsequent outbound shipments, ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of status.
  • Contingency – Provide back-up solutions where necessary, identify root cause and corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Communicating across multiple internal and external platforms.
  • Monitor and reporting of OTD performance (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) and maintain issues log.
  • Document control, ensuring all shipping and freight documentation is 100% accurate/compliant.
  • Proof of delivery management, work to retrieve missing POD’s.
  • Review daily delivery reports to manage exceptions until closed out.
  • Summarising and interpreting reports for internal as well as external purposes.
  • Internal and external query management, meet agreed SLAs on closing cases.
  • Perform all administration duties, filing, queries, validate costs, attend/set up meetings in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Treat all customer information in a confidential manner and comply with all Security & IT Policies in relation to the protection of company and customer information.

  • Based on your current job role, or any role assigned to you by your manager, you will have access to the arvato and the customer data that is relevant for the completion of your role. You are not entitled to access, or seek to access, arvato or customer data that is not directly associated with your job role. You must treat arvato and customer data in line with our Data Classification processes but if in doubt you should default to treat all arvato and customer data as private & confidential. You must comply with all Security & IT Policies in relation to the protection of arvato and customer data
  • You will comply with Internal Policies & Procedures and with our ISO certification requirements, specifically ISO 9001; ISO 14001 & ISO 27001.
  • You will be required to be flexible in this role and must be prepared to perform other tasks and undertake additional duties in any area of the business as determined by Management. These tasks may be outside your normal work area
  • Occasional travel abroad is required in this role
  • You will ensure compliance to the conditions of the Wholesale Distribution Authorisation and Good Distribution Practice.
  • You will comply with the requirement of the QMS for Arvato Ireland.

Your profile

Essential Requirements:

Technical Competencies

  • Recognised third level qualification in International Business Management/Business/Logistics or equivalent
  • Experience in Logistics
  • Experience in Transport documentation
  • Experience in Freight Administration/Coordination
  • Demonstrated integrity in business relations and business acumen
  • Demonstrated understanding of truck movements/Freight systems etc.
  • PC Skills (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Telephone skills
