This opportunity is perfect for a Senior Tax Accounting Manager seeking to transition from practice to a leadership role within a high-profile industry setting.This 12 month contract (maternity) is with dynamic tax team within a globally recognized leader in aviation leasing. As a Senior Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Compliance & Reporting: Lead and support the preparation of annual and quarterly corporate tax provisions, ensuring compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with external advisors to manage tax filings and utilize new technologies to streamline processes.
  • Pillar 2 Implementation: Participate in the working group focused on implementing Pillar 2 reporting requirements. Stay updated on technical developments and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • Transfer Pricing & Tax Strategy: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies. Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for increased efficiency.
  • Industry Leadership: Keep pace with the changing tax landscape, ensuring the company’s compliance and strategic adaptability.

Experience/Requirements

  • Education & Experience: CTA qualifed and either ACA/ACCA or CPA qualified with 4 years plus experience in a Tax Accounting position. Experience in industry or a major accounting firm is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in current and deferred tax, with strong analytical and planning skills. Familiarity with tax systems like Revenues Online Service (ROS), IXBRL, and Alpha Tax is a plus.
  • Strong Tax Accouting skills and experince with Irish GAAP and/orUS GAAP
  • Core Competencies: Ability to build and manage inter-departmental relationships across global offices. Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and flexibility to perform under pressure.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for leading and motivating others. An effective communicator who can work with both finance and non-finance professionals.
