Keurig Dr Pepper is looking for a hands-on Tax professional for its operations in Ireland. The Tax analyst will be a key resource in tax reporting and compliance, preparing and analysing data for the purpose of direct, indirect tax, payroll taxes and transfer pricing.

What you will do:

Tax reporting:

  • Collaborate with accounting and broader tax on the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax journal entries and other financial reporting schedules and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of local GAAP to IFRS adjustments.
  • Work with the wider tax team on Pillar II implementation and other implementation requirements based on new tax legislations.

Tax compliance:

  • Work with external service providers, and internal tax, accounting and treasury teams in the preparation of indirect tax, direct tax, withholding tax returns and meeting deadlines for payments.
  • Assist with audits and other financial assessments, as well as research and analyse tax matters related to the company’s business activities.

Transfer pricing:

  • Assist the tax team in analysing IC transactions and ensuring appropriate documentation (including the review of IC agreements).
  • Assist with the update of data used in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
  • Assist in the implementation of any tax planning initiatives.

Drive Process Improvement:

  • Challenge the status quo! You will challenge processes that have been in place, build new process improvement strategies and implement processes for the future.
  • Analyze industry trends and evolving tax technology to pro-actively identify improvement opportunities, minimize risk, and improve accuracy.
  • Provide insights for improvement opportunities and synergies.

Miscellaneous:

  • Support the high performing team culture in a fast-paced environment to execute strategic goals and improve quality decision making.
  • Provides value-added analytics to improve performance.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
  • Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day.

Requirements

What you must have:

Candidate must be a self-starter, have solid broad-based finance skills, preferably Procurement Finance experience, and must possess strong leadership and teamwork skills. Additional qualifications include:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, finance, or a similar field
  • Do they need to be part/fully qualified?
  • 2+ years related work experience in Finance and Accounting as well as broad business knowledge.
  • Experience in tax/accounting.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated competency in use of financial, planning and reporting software platforms (such as SAP, Planning Analytics, Anaplan)

  • Self-motivated team player with strong ability to interact with others, work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse set of internal/external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams and geography.
  • Must be organized and adaptable, able to take on new responsibilities as needed.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communications skills; comfortable communicating with management.
