Job description
This company is seeking a highly motivated and fully qualified Tax Manager (VAT) to join their Tax Team based in Dublin 4.As the Tax Manager (VAT), you will provide high-quality VAT consultancy services to clients while working in collaboration with other areas of the business such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Business Advisory teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality VAT consultancy services to clients
- Work in collaboration with other areas of the business such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Business Advisory teams
- Ability to manage a client portfolio profitably while actively seeking and developing opportunities for both existing and new clients
- Identify and project manage tax consultancy assignments using solutions-based tax planning
- Advise overseas clients locating to Ireland on both compliance and tax structuring projects
- Build and maintain client relationships both within the firm and within the wider international network
- Stay abreast of tax technical changes as a result of the evolving international tax landscape
- Develop and train more junior members of the team – taking responsibility for both their technical and practical experience
Key Requirements:
- CTA / CTC qualified (Accountancy qualification is also desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Experience with VAT in Ireland and/or internationally is essential for this role
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
- Excellent knowledge of corporate tax both in Ireland and internationally
- Client-focused with an interest in developing new business opportunities for this company
- Excellent team management skills
