Job Title : Team Lead – ITC-L&C Tractors- Vehicle Engineering

The CNH Industrial India Technology Center, newly established in Gurgaon as part of the Company’s global R&D network, will work on multiple products across segments and engineering disciplines. It will support not only the business development in India, but also the global product portfolio of the Company.
Position Summary:
The Team Lead- Vehicle Integration will be responsible for leading and managing the all engineering work on various Vehicle Integration and System design integration engineering aspects of Large Tractor with the aim of best system integration following the Standardization, Modularity and Cost Effective, System Engineering aspects. Position is part of Large &Compact PDE team at ITC and requires close collaboration with Global & Local peers, Global & Local leaders to deliver value output. Nature of work shall predominantly Mechanical engineering across new product development and Current Product Engineering focused towards functional & structural design & optimization, Issue resolution & build/testing support, VA/VE aspects etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership/Team Deliverables
- The position will be responsible to partner with respective global operating groups to co-create, lead and implement the technology & Engineering roadmap to move CNHi ahead of competition. Find ways to create, grow and sustain a strategic relationship with global operating groups.
- Play a key role, working with global operating groups, to ensure talent and technical capabilities are aligned to execute current and future needs. Hire, grow & retain right talent to execute assigned sub-system/system or defined area of Large & Compact Team from ITC India.
- Drive the deployment of CNHi standardized engineering practices across the team, ensuring effective project and resource prioritization and allocation of resources. Evolve appropriate metrics for team accountability and delivery. Responsible for delivering projects on time, within costs targets, and meeting the customer functional specifications.
- Ongoing identification of recruiting, mentoring and development of the engineering talent & enable potential talent pipeline for current as well as future programs.
- Support and demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach in working with internal and external stakeholders including support functions like HR, Admin, IT, suppliers etc.
- Partner with external resources such as universities, suppliers and associations as needed to close competency and/or infrastructure gaps.

Functional/Technical Deliverables:
- Responsible for building and operationalizing the team for defined priorities within Large and Compact Tractor Vehicle Integration – in close coordination with local and global leadership.
- Standardization, Modularity and Value addition are must require attributes.
- Accountable for Delivering Functional & Technical design solution through regular design reviews onto On-going design & Development projects, field/build issue resolution, design optimization/standardization, ensure high quality deliverable and on time delivery.
- Responsible for delivering the work from ITC in close collaboration with global teams
- Execution Excellence and deliver Time, Quality and productivity KPIs and ensure effective participation into global design reviews thus meeting expectation & needs.
- Responsible for employee engagement and motivation of the team.
Education Qualification: BE and/or ME in Mechanical/Production/Ag or equivalent discipline is preferred from reputed institute
Details of Work experience:
- A minimum of 14 years overall experience; preferable from Agricultural Tractor/Agricultural products domain in Higher HP
- A minimum of 5 years specific experience leading teams in Engineering & Technology function & Center
- Hands on experience doing design of complex and large mechanical equipment’s with knowledge of Structure, castings, forgings, fabrication, sheet metal, plastics. Experience in doing FEA is a plus.
- Preferably experience on Ag. Domain with design engineering having knowledge of various sub-systems like Vehicle integration, Implements applications, Engine installation, Hydraulics, Driveline, etc. wrt US Agri markets.
- Basic knowledge of electrical design, harnesses, routing and Electro-Hydraulic systems is desired.
- Knowledge of CAD tools (i.e., CreO), PLM system, TcAE etc. in a large organization.
- Knowledge of new product development process for product/platform product is desired.
- Experience working with global teams and as part of large virtual teams.
- Ability to influence and build relations.

The role will play a key role in expanding the Large and Compact team for global projects at ITC. It brings significant challenges and opportunities for the incumbent. Additionally, also hold potential for future growth.
Close collaboration in complex matrix with stakeholders from Global PD teams is must. Role is not only required to help start the workflow from global and local teams, but also need to establish processes and systems within Team in ITC to manage this and deliver meeting/exceeding expectations. Role offers opportunity to work in breadth as well as depth of technical areas associated with High HP tractors products of CNHi and requires passion and learnability quotient.
