Position Overview:

This position provides assistance to Compeers internal and external clients by providing support to Diversified Markets (Capital Market, Agri-Access, Animal Agriculture and Food & Agribusiness) as well as large Ag Lending Credit, RAU, Emerging Markets and Bonds. Performs processing and administrative duties using the knowledge of established policies, practices and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for developing/driving best practices, managing workload, training and monitoring performance across the team. Participates in the ongoing design of processes to improve efficiencies, meet Diversified Markets goals and provide exceptional overall service.

Essential Functions:

  • Processes approvals for Diversified Credit (Capital Market, Agri-Access, Specialized and Food & Agribusiness) large Ag Lending Credit, RAU, Emerging Markets and Bonds along with tracking the of participation approvals from the Capital Markets Group, or participate and syndicate approvals.
  • Tracks and monitors credit committee follow-up requirements and legal audit requirements.
  • Assists in processing loans in Salesforce and OnBase, including proper completion of regulatory compliance fields.
  • Reviews Paid in Full Reports to determine if there are annual financial reports that can be deleted. Verifies each case in the relationship isn’t associated with any other loans requiring financials.
  • Reviews, verifies and determines codes for Farm Involvement Codes and missing Industry Codes reports to update OnTrack and Salesforce to remain compliant.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics, finance, accounting, business administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum of 7 years of agricultural credit, finance, accounting or other related experience.
  • Three to five years leadership and management experience preferred.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.
  • Advanced organizational skills, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • High level of initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
  • Advanced understanding of credit processing and servicing activities, accounting principles and practices, credit analysis procedures, credit administration, and credit operations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
