Our client, a multi-national banking & financial services institution, is looking for an IT Technical Lead. In this role, you will be a key member of a small team in the Technology & Digital Development department.While your main focus will be on IT, you will also work with colleagues from Automation/Digital Development, Customer Journeys/Digital Channels, and Data Analytics. Our client’s main goal is to transform their operations using advanced technology to improve how we interact with customers, suppliers, and partners.Benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple platforms and applications, ensuring IT security, governance, and hardware support.
• Operate in a high-pressure environment, interacting with personnel at all levels, from junior staff to the CEO.
• Encourage cross-training among team members to ensure versatility in performing various functions.
• Participate in on-call duties every eight weeks.
• Provide project consultancy, offering technical advice on IT security, governance, and application support.
• Play a significant role in scheme attestations, regulatory surveys, and maintaining ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials certifications.
• Maintain a high level of technical proficiency for managing internal and external relationships effectively.
• Oversee the delivery of a broad spectrum of IT services.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as an IT consultant, working with various IT, business, and external stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support for IT services.
• Engage closely with technology specialists within a larger IT ecosystem.
• Participate in diverse training programs to enhance career and personal development.

Required Skills and Expertise:

• Proficiency in IT platforms such as Windows, Linux, Openshift, and AWS.
• Experience with application delivery within the IT development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to work within an agile framework.
• Prior experience assessing IT risk and security implications of new or enhanced solutions.
