As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Arlo is committed to bringing cutting-edge image processing, AI, computer vision, and networking technology to the smart home security market.As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring successfully delivery of key projects within Arlo’s Software products and technologies. These projects will be diverse in nature and require you to be organized and flexible to adapt to changing situations.The ideal candidate will have previously led complex cross-functional programs and must have a proven track record in successfully completing projects on time and with high customer satisfaction.Responsibilities– Manage multiple projects that involve significant technical and/or business complexity and communication, with significant collaboration and conflict resolution across the diverse organization.– Drive definition and closure of project requirements, project plans/schedules, and resource needs.– Create project delivery schedule/plan with relevant financial, resource and material requirements.– Actively manage program risk, provide consistent program status and progress against objectives at all levels within the corporation.– Collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, create and run daily standups and weekly team meetings and drive projects to a successful completion– Manages project information to stakeholders through a communication plan; facilitates information between stakeholders primarily around project status and timelines– Manages stakeholder relationships and expectations regarding scope, cost, time and quality; builds and ensures support and alignment for project– Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.Skills and Behaviors Required– Senior technical program manager with minimum of 6 years successfully leading complex programs in a high tech industry.– Strong understanding of software product development and delivery processes and how they impact the customer experience.– Hands-on cross-functional team leadership experience– Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work autonomously with executives, managers and individual contributors at all levels.– Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and influencing skills.– Ability to identify and build best practices– Partnership/Teamwork – ability to work well with a variety of people and be flexible to take on different roles/responsibilities as needs change.– Influencing skills – strong business partnership, business process analysis, and influencing skills with heavy interaction at the decision-making manager/director/VP level.– Excellent program and project management skills.Education– Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field and a passion for technologyStudies have shown that candidates from certain underrepresented communities may be less likely to apply for jobs unless they believe they meet every single one of the qualifications as described in a job description.
