JOB DESCRIPTIONTechnical Scrum MasterActive SC (essential)Remote | Inside IR35 | £450 – £500SR2 is recruiting a Scrum Master with a technical background to support a consultancy with a huge piece of work within government. This role will require active security clearance (SC) – please only apply if you have this clearance already.Coming from a technical background, you may have previously been a developer, an engineer, or an automation tester. The ideal candidate will have some coding experience.As an experienced Scrum Master, your role is critical in delivering the roadmap, supporting the scrum team and providing coaching on agile methodologies. You will be a self-motivated and calm individual, who is able to work with and support entire teams and senior stakeholders. You will lead daily scrums, organise bi-weekly sprint sessions, and support sprint demos, reviews, and retrospectives.The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management experience, ideally having client-facing experience working via a consultancy. You must also have recent experience working within government and working on projects that follow the GDS framework.Based in central London, the client is looking for candidates who are happy to do a few days onsite a month.Required experience:
- 5 years experience as a Scrum Master in commercial environments
- Central government experience
- Government Digital Service (GDS) framework experience within projects
- Background in client-facing roles or consultancy experience – desirable
- Scrum Master qualification, such as SAFe, CSM, PSM, etc
- Technical background = engineer/developer/automation QA
- Coding experience (in any language)
