In your role, you will take operational ownership of the services being offered to Optus Enterprise and Business customers in the form of Managed Network and Data Centre Services. The division provides support and delivery of ICT services to a wide range of customers in the Australian market who may have infrastructure located in Data centres. You will be involved in resolving complex incidents, identifying and remediating the root cause of incidents via problem management methodology.
You will provide resolution for incident management and be responsible for troubleshooting to resolve complex incidents as well as identifying and remediating the root cause of incidents. You will assist with the configuration of network solutions based on the guidelines of Build specifications by working with strategic vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HP/Aruba, Palo Alto and F5.
This centre operates 24×7, 365 days a year, with customer demand driving the rostering requirements. You will work on a rotating roster, provided at least four weeks in advance, with the opportunity to earn an additional salary for overnight and weekend shifts. Occasional overtime may also be available.
