TasksThe duties of the Technical Support Engineer L1 include:

• Support aircraft component repair and overhaul in compliance with regulations
• Provide support to Operations using approved practices and procedures
• Ensure published work meets authority requirements and manufacturer’s data
• Seek approval for deviations from published data as needed
• Provide technical support to Operations, including reports and CAD designs
• Assist in technical investigations and recommend improvements
• Assist in developing new company capabilities
• Assist in developing new processes in various areas as requested
• Facilitate creation and amendment of Master Task List and Master Parts List data
• Undertake all duties in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures

• Degree in Engineering (BEng) or equivalent industry experience
• Training in Lean manufacturing, Continuous improvement, and Statistical Process Control
• Additional language (German/French) is beneficial

• Manufacturing industry experience, ideally in Aircraft/MRO environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and basic metrology skills
• Experience with production control packages (MRP/ERP/SAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Packages and 3D CAD system (Solid Works)
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
• Understanding of aircraft industry airworthiness system (EASA 145/CAMO/Part M and wider industry FAA/ICAO)
• Highly Innovative, analytical, decisive, multi-tasked, and goal-oriented individual
• Flexible working schedule, including on and off-site work
• Comfortable working in a shop floor environment with exposure to chemicals and heavy lifting equipment
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Mandatory training will be required
