They are seeking a focused and dynamic Technical Trainer within Aircraft Maintenance to drive their learning culture within a challenging, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering technical training while ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering employee development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual technical training plan aligned with business needs and industry compliance.
  • Conduct a thorough technical training needs analysis for the organisation.
  • Plan and coordinate the approved training plan within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure all training complies with regulatory standards such as EASA Part-145 and other applicable guidelines.
  • Provide oversight and support for trainees and apprentices.
  • Implement and manage e-learning solutions for efficient training delivery.
  • Support new employee inductions with tailored training programmes.
  • Maintain accurate training records in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Propose new training initiatives to enhance business performance.
  • Liaise with external bodies and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage the training budget to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external use.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Aircraft Engineering; an EASA Part 66 Cat B1/B2 licence is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance with deep knowledge of Part 145 regulations, continuing airworthiness principles, and technical planning.
  • Proven training instruction experience within an MRO or Part 147 training organisation.
  • Fluent in English with excellent organisational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Energetic and committed to high standards and deadlines.
