Leighton BuzzardMy client is looking for an experienced technician to join their team and become a Contact Lens Technician on a permanent basis. As a Contact Lens Technician you will be required to manufacture lenses to the highest standard. Ensuring lead times are met and prioritising overdue and urgent lenses. You will be working in a sterile, clinical setting with no natural light due to the nature of the manufacturing process.Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To manufacture contact lenses in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all lenses are of a high standard.
• To keep a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
• Report any issues or concerns to line manager.
• To clean down all areas of dry and empty the hoovers as required.

Technician Experience:

• Manufacturing or assembly line experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Technician Personal Qualities:

• Education: GCSE English and Maths.
• Communication
• Initiative and Motivation
• Relationship Building
• Team Working
