Telecom Analyst (Temporary)

Reporting to the Telecom Manager, the Telecom Analyst will work with customers, peers, and vendors to assist in all aspects of the execution of Telecom account disconnections. With minimal supervision, the Telecom Analyst will track and record progress toward assigned tasks.

Temporary Position Details

This is a 1-year temporary position with Extra Space Storage, with the possibility of extension for an additional year upon completion of the initial term. This role is directly employed by Extra Space Storage.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate with telecommunications providers, third party owners, and Extra Space Storage Operations team to complete internet, PIAB, and phone line disconnects
• Assist with gathering and reporting telecom information for both large- and small-scale telecommunications projects.
• Assist with line disconnects for telecom optimization
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Must have previous experience with performing ISP disconnects
• 1-3 years experience working with telecom vendors, ISP preferred
• 1-3 years experience working with a telecom expense management tool
• 1-3 years experience reviewing telecom bills
• 1-3 years experience working in a ticket management system
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

• Associate degree preferred, but education can be substituted for years of experience
• Must be able to use excel at an intermediate level

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Close visual acuity required to perform work at computer terminal. No exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping and feeling.
• This position is fully remote, available to candidates located anywhere within the United States.
