Overview

As a Telecom Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to support Brightspring telecom needs. Your primary objective will be to assess current infrastructure, understand business needs, and recommend tailored solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. You will collaborate with others to analyze requirements, design effective strategies, and implement innovative telecom solutions. Your role will also involve staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure Brightspring receives the most relevant and effective advice.

Responsibilities

  • Consultation: Meet with operations teams to understand their telecom needs, evaluate existing infrastructure, and gather requirements for future projects
  • Analysis and Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of client telecom systems, networks, and operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
  • Solution Design: Develop customized telecom solutions based on client requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Recommendations: Provide detailed recommendations on telecom products, services, and technologies to improve client operations, reduce costs, and enhance performance
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of recommended telecom solutions, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines and budgets
  • Technical Support: Offer technical expertise and support to clients during the implementation phase and post-implementation to resolve any issues or challenges
  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for client staff to ensure proper understanding and utilization of new telecom solutions
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with telecom vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, evaluate proposals, and ensure that clients receive the best possible value
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about telecom regulations, standards, and compliance requirements to ensure that client solutions adhere to all relevant laws and guidelines
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of client telecom systems, configurations, and procedures for future reference and auditing purposes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in telecommunications consulting, with a focus on solution design and implementation
  • Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS), or equivalent, are a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of telecom systems, networks, protocols, and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex telecom environments and recommend effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the telecommunications industry

Salary Range

USD $84,000.00 – $90,000.00 / Year
