Job Description
Assist in planning, design, and implementation of telecommunication services
Develop detailed project plans, manage telecom projects from proposal to implementation
Work closely with Clients, IT Network Team, Procurement and Vendors to ensure timely delivery of telecommunication needs.
Review and maintain the Global Telecom Circuit Inventory and ensure timeliness of system update on any new circuit installation, bandwidth upgrade and circuit deactivation.
Create a forecast for worldwide telecom spend and perform monthly analysis of variance vs budget and vs actuals
Provide a recommendation on ways to mitigate and improve telecom spend
Establish and maintain a standard telecom cost per seat for all geos
Assist in the annual budgeting of telecom spend
Highlight any delays and drive timely completion of telecom project
Ensure timely renewal of expiring telecom circuits, and compute for any incremental spend and/or savings to be generated upon renewal, if there’s any
Ensure timely and proper payment of billing to telecom vendors and prevent disconnection of any telecom services
Monitor and report all over and under telco payment, and drive on time reconciliation and settlement with telecom vendors
Creates weekly and monthly telecom spend and update management during monthly meeting
Investigate and report ambiguous telecom charges to IT
Handle and review data circuits capacity and availability and ensure existing circuits have sufficient capacity to support existing and growth requirements
Handles RFQ, RFP and commercial arrangements for data accounts
