Telecom Project Analyst

Aloha! One of Hawaii’s main telecom companies is seeking a Project Analyst to join their team! This role will primarily support telecom engineering projects through planning, coordination, and administrative tasks.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Send engineering drawings for printing and distribution.
• Help route bills of materials (BOMs) for quotes, internal requests, and purchase orders.

Project Coordination Duties:

• Confirm delivery of materials with receiving teams and update SAP records.
• Organize and consolidate materials from multiple orders for deployment.
• Schedule project kick-off meetings with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate monthly project schedules across islands, ensuring:
• Site readiness (permits, access, safety, vegetation clearing, etc.)
• Material delivery
• Submit required documentation (LHOs, Holdoffs) based on project needs.
• Notify operations center (NOSC) of upcoming work and arrange outage windows if needed.
• Arrange safety and substation entry training for contractors.
• Travel to outer islands as needed

Project Analyst Support:

• Share updates and reports with engineers (e.g., dashboard, forecasts, accruals).
• Pull data for project planning (drawings, material orders, kickoff dates).
• Assist with creating reports for budget approvals.
• Set up projects and work orders in SAP.
• Generate service invoice entries (SES).
• Occasionally help update internal systems (UI).
• Travel to outer islands as needed.

Contract Duration

• Possible contract up to one year, depending on bill rate and approved budget*

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Telecommunications preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 – $39.00/hr.
