Telecom Sales Manager (Turkey and Export markets)

Team Overview and Job responsibilities

As the Telecom Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market share in Turkey and in dedicated export countries in Telecom Business (including intercompany opportunities). You will lead Business Unit and develop strategic business plans and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in cable solutions market which are operators, distributors, and key account customers.

Working in the Telecom Solutions Business Unit, your primary products are fiber optic cable, fiber connectivity, Copper Communication cables.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability, focusing on hard currency sales
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients
  • Visit frequently customers and negotiate related projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Control the offers together with the sales engineer and R&D
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.

Who are we looking for?

The Ideal Candidate should have the following skills and motivations:

  • BS degree in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales
  • Knowledge of Fiber Optic Cables and Accessories will be a plus
  • Resilient to coping with conflicting demands and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skill (both written and verbal) and ability to influence cross-functionally.
  • Available and interested to travel abroad for customer visits and to foster the strategic growth in export.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work effectively in cross-functional Teams.
  • Highly organized with prioritization skills
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, SAP a plus
  • Always acts as a role model, ensuring the integrity and delivering on promises.
  • Keeping the things simple in order to facilitate timely and focused decision making.
