The Infrastructure Network Manager supports processes such as lifecycle management, network optimization, service assurance, service delivery, customer care, sales, and other business-critical operations as needed. The role works closely with the Infrastructure Planning function and oversees site growth, end-of-life equipment replacement, telecom equipment, and customer infrastructure installation.

Responsibilities

  • Establish procedures for the operation and maintenance of sites and infrastructure
  • Ensure the security and controlled access to all technical sites
  • Coordinate with external engineering contractors when required
  • Maintain up-to-date network inventory using databases and reports
  • Participate in Critical Infrastructure Protection activities in line with local regulations
  • Manage infrastructure capacity, such as cooling and power systems, ensuring efficiency throughout the equipment lifecycle
  • Drive site efficiency improvements
  • Oversee vendor management for local and global service providers
  • Handle right-of-way matters for the optical network
  • Plan and implement OSP capacity expansions and reroutes
  • Support OPEX and CAPEX forecasting for infrastructure-related costs and contracts
  • Manage site optical cabling capacity
  • Deliver customer orders and respond to infrastructure-related incidents
  • Act as a local escalation point for site incidents
  • Manage planned maintenance and upgrades for infrastructure
  • Provide necessary input for bids, solutions, and product development processes
  • Track infrastructure costs and invoice accuracy
  • Support service delivery processes with relevant contributions

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory
  • Technical Knowledge: Degree or proven experience in technical facilities or telecom/utility network operations (power, cooling, fiber networks)
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working in a digital, multinational environment using English
  • Self-Management: Autonomous task delivery while being a strong team player
  • Data Orientation: Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, visualization tools such as Qlik)
  • Project Management: Strong project management and reporting skills.
