LCRA Telecom is seeking an innovative, talented, and highly motivated individual to join our team. As a system administrator you will play a pivotal role in the installation, maintaining, integration, and day-to-day support of the Telecom Department applications, with the primary focus on Connect Master software and associated hardware.
You will be trusted to:
- Administer Connect Master application and become a subject matter expert.
- Boost user-experience by optimizing Connect Master system.
- Proactively ensure the highest level of system availability.
- Develop integration and data sharing between multiple systems.
- Engage with team members to resolve system issues.
- Forge code, test, and deploy for system improvements.
- Grow Telecom business by assisting and providing value add components.
- Highlight customer service opportunities and provide training and support to end users.
- Investigate, manage and monitor the application, system, and infrastructure.
You qualify with:
- Six or more years of experience in systems development, installation, administration and maintenance in a UNIX/Windows environment, or other relevant experience, including two or more years in supporting high availability systems. A degree(s) in software engineering, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
