General Description
The candidate shall be able to manage the whole lifecycle of a project from a technical point of view, for the following areas:
He/She will operate during both Bid and Project phase. As part of the Bid / Tender stage, system engineer will analyze contractual and system requirements, derive subsystem requirements and built the system architecture based on the outcome of such analysis. As part of the Project stage, in close coordination with the System Engineering Manager, the Project Manager and the other team members, He/She will be responsible for all the activities relevant to the assigned subsystem, ensuring the predefined results on time, within the budget and with the expected level of Quality.

Skills and experience
Telecom System Engineer with a professional experience (min. 4 years) in the technical management of Telecom Subsystems relevant to complex integrated programs/projects in Transportation Domain (Railways, Metro, Tramways, Tunnels, Urban Security, etc.).
Telecom System Engineer role requires technical knowledge of all the main technologies and subsystems used to implement IT, Telecom and Security services, of the way in which these subsystems are integrated and the relevant operational scenarios.
Main skills/expertise requested by the candidate to successfully cover the role are:
For Telecommunication Networks / IT Infrastructures:
For Security Systems, Passenger Information Systems (Wayside, On Board):
EMI/EMC Standards, Railway Standards:
Design and Integration of LV/MV Power Supply Systems (UPS, AC/DC, LFM, etc…)
Knowledge of RFI standards for Tunnel Security applications
The candidate must have developed through his/her professional experience the capability of managing relationships with other departments, Customers and Suppliers.
Fluent English is mandatory. The knowledge of French is appreciated.
Available to travel.
