Your Impact:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing all telecom equipment at customer location. Telecom equipment responsibilities include Avaya IP Phones, Avaya Digital 9408, speakerphones, and answering machines. Install and terminate Cat5E cable, Cat6A, cross boxes and central office cross connections. Interpret work and trouble orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics. Install backboards and jacks, test wire and translate test results; download test results from scanner to computer. Run cross connects for data and voice jacks. Maintain material inventory on vehicle, tools, test equipment and assigned vehicle. Maintain a safe work environment by following codes and standards. Reporting documentation on safety, security, quality, and billing.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Requirements:

• Network/Telecommunications experience minimum 4 years
• Analog telecom knowledge
• Minimum high school diploma
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have a current driver’s license
• Must pass an alcohol and substance abuse test
• Must be able to pass to obtain DOE Clearance
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, up to 50 lbs.
• Stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Clearance Required: DOE Q

Minimum Education: Highschool

Minimum Years of Experience: 4

Preferred:

• DOE Clearance.
• Avaya Certifications
