About This Position

The Site Administrator serve as primary on-site contact for facility system inquiries and repairs. This position also repairs or replaces broken telephone sets and provides a weekly update of phone system status, repairs made and any open items. 

Must have experience inside Jail or Prison environment.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to the inmate facility staff while working onsite M-F.
• Inmate Communication Equipment Repairs: Have a good working knowledge of basic telephony and network to be able to troubleshoot and replace handsets, hook switches, keypads, and whole unit replacements.
• Tablet Management: Deploying tablets and requesting replacement tablets through an RMA process
• Inmate Communications Software: Provide admin assistance, changing PINS or passcodes when asked by staff, running reports, downloading data for the purpose of subpoena response and investigations
• Ordering and Tracking Replacement Parts: Keeping an inventory on hand of necessary replacement parts and items using ticketing system
• Recording and tracking tablets that are out for repair, approving photos and videos, researching tablet issues and inquiries
• Network Maintenance: Rebooting servers, switches, reporting AP’s that are offline, replacing UPS batteries
• Weekly Reporting: Provide weekly stats and reports to customer and management

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Customer service experience
• 3 or more years demonstrated skills in a high tech environment, emphasizing skills in computer hardware maintenance, software management, and networking
• Position can require overtime, non-standard schedules and evening or night shifts
• Must be Microsoft Office 365 Proficient (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must have experience inside Jail or Prison environment
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to clear and maintain security clearance at assigned facility
