Shape the Future of Telecoms Assets at National Grid
This is a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of telecoms infrastructure at National Grid. You’ll help set the strategic direction for future processes and play a pivotal role in shaping the development roadmap for next-generation telecoms.
We’re seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in telecom technologies — including MPLS-TP, SDH, Fibre Optics, DWDM, and Coherent Networks — to provide end-to-end asset management across the entire equipment lifecycle. In this critical role, you’ll support design assurance, close process gaps, and develop industry-leading policies, procedures, and technical standards that prioritise performance, innovation, and safety.
Other responsibilities will include evaluating emerging technologies for integration into the National Grid Transmission System, travelling domestically and internationally to oversee supplier equipment testing, and engaging with a range of stakeholders to stay ahead of regulatory and industry trends.
If you’re driven by the intersection of energy, technology, and innovation — and want your work to have real-world impact — we’d love to hear from you.
