Test Automation EngineerUK, Poland & IndiaAs a Test Automation Engineer within the Digital Factory Platform team, you will be at the forefront of our move towards fully automated testing and deployments for application teams as part of a broader Fusion GT Transformation program.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Develop the Quality Engineering, test automation strategy, roadmap, KPIs, standards, and practices for the platform and agile product teams.
  • Assess product team requirements and propose test automation solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Mentor and collaborate with product Scrum teams, providing guidance on test automation best practices.
  • Own and lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
  • Create and conduct test automation training and overview sessions for teams.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with automated deployment strategies.
  • Create and deliver reusable CI/CD test pipeline templates.
  • Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium,Cucumber Framework, JIRA, Rest Assured, JMeter and CheckMarx.

  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Proficient understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.
  • Adaptable to new test automation strategies, tools, and technologies; comfortable with change.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate test automation goals and influence decisions.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain robust relationships to achieve test automation goals.
  • Ability to effectively integrate disparate test automation processes and technologies.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including workload prioritization and realistic timescales.
  • Proficiency in JAVA/.NET/JS for test automation /Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (AzD, Bamboo, Harness, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Microfocus Testing tools (ALM QC, PC & UFT) & JMETER.
  • Familiarity with JIRA & JIRA X-Ray, Azure, GHE, JFrog/Nexus Artifactory.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new test automation technologies and tools.
  • Experience in the following would be advantageous:
  • Docker
  • Azure
  • OpenShift
  • Harness /Azure DevOps /Jenkins
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a focus on test automation.
