Transformation Programme Manager
Fully remote – may have to go to the office from time to time (Mayo)
Day rate: 700-820 per day
Must be currently based in Ireland with EU/UK passport or Stamp 4 visa.

  • Experience working in the public and private sector is desirable.
  • Experience using a project lifecycle and Stage Gate framework is desirable.
  • Experience working in an Agile framework as Scrum Master is desirable.

Lead and manage transformation programmes from inception to completion, providing leadership, management, coordination and direction to teams delivering ICT projects.

  • Plan, design and proactively monitor its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
  • Co-ordinate the programme’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies.
  • Lead a team of business analysts ensuring they are focused on high value business priorities and are seeking to optimise high-quality innovative service experience to Customers.

Ensure team have the necessary tools, processes, and training to do their job effectively and are fully aware of the consistent standards required.

  • Ensuring an overall business architecture strategy with a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the compnay developing a common understanding of business capabilities.
  • Ensure design and development of the system / service is guided by excellent Digital Design principles.
  • Ensure the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements.
  • Manage communications with all stakeholders.
  • Plan prioritisation of resources for all programmes through liaison with project managers, business analysts and various stakeholders.
  • Provide the reporting structures required to monitor the progress of each programme and project against defined success criteria.
  • Manage issues and risks ensuring they are escalated to the proper resources to resolve in a timely manner with minimum disruption to the business.
  • Provide strategic support and coordination to the leadership team and different functions of the organisation.
  • Document and manage the needs and requirements of the various stakeholders in order to understand and prioritise key strategic initiatives.
  • Work with other teams to analyse and resolve problems associated with programme issues.
  • Manage Programme and project closure and participate in Business Realisation Reviews.
  • Provide guidance on current trends, techniques and proactively pursue new innovations as well as demonstrating a broad knowledge of business solutions.

Essential experiences

  • A minimum of five years’ experience of leading and managing programmes of work that align strategic objectives and tactical demands; demonstrating a clear ability to roadmap how successful transformational programme deliver, ensuring a holistic enterprise wide approach to customer service delivery, to enhancing effectiveness, reducing costs and utilising the capacity and information created to deliver even better services.
  • Experience of vision development and requirements gathering (UI/UX, Functional & Non-Functional) for service impact and all designs elements. Demonstrate how

Capabilities, Value Steams, Customer Flows and Processes are managed to support the future Customer Journey.

  • Experience with managing risks to ensure successful outcomes on large business transformation initiatives involving significant business architecture changes and service development changes during the Design, Development and Test phases.
  • Experience to guide Business Analyst/Designers to align to business architecture for the UI/UX, Functional Non-Functional Requirements and design guidelines.
