Are you a traffic or transportation engineer with experience in traffic planning?If interested in working for a leading international consultancy, send your CV to aaron@jobcontax.com or call to discuss this role in confidence.Transportation Engineer – DublinEmployerOur Client is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services.They offer full-spectrum support to pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial and government clients across multiple markets.Job DescriptionThe Transport Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing bus service plans and general transport planning within a team embedded with our Client.Service Planning: Develop and implement bus service plans, including route design, scheduling, and frequency adjustments.Data Analysis: Analyze ridership data, traffic patterns, and demographic information to inform service planning decisions.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with local government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure that bus services meet community needs.Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of bus services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and integrate sustainable practices into bus service planning, including the use of eco-friendly vehicles and technologies.Public Engagement: Conduct public consultations and surveys to gather feedback on bus services and incorporate community input into planning processes.Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on bus service performance and planning initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.Package€30-€40 per hourContract position, min 12 months but likely to be extendedContactAaron Behan is the consultant managing this position.If you have any queries about this role, you can contact Aaron by e-mail aaron@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696684tagciv
