Job description
UI/UX Developer – £500/day Inside IR35 – 3-month Contract – London Onsite – SCC FLEX CONTRACTAs a UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly. You will work closely with the development team, and project managers to ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality and usability.Your Key Responsibilities as UI/UX Developer:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the product.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Your Skills and Qualifications as the UI/UX Developer:
- Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of user-system interaction.
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
